| On Friday, July 10, Montrose and Cortlandt Engine Company joined together in Mount Kisco for their annual fireman's parade. This year’s event was dedicated from the start to the late Deputy Chief Edward Snyder. Members marched proudly, following Chief Thomas Gilleo, to honor Deputy Chief Snyder’s service and legacy.
When the results were announced, the effort spent on preparing and cleaning the apparatus, as well as the attention to uniform presentation, was recognized. Montrose was awarded Best Overall for their outstanding performance. This achievement stands as a tribute to Chief Snyder, reflecting the dedication and pride he inspired within the department. |
