District Officers
The Montrose Fire District is governed by a Board of five elected Fire Commissioners. Each Commissioner is elected to a five-year term, with one seat up for election each year to ensure continuity of leadership. All Commissioners must reside within the boundaries of the fire district.
In addition to the Board, several key administrative roles - Secretary, Treasurer, Office Assistant, and Attorney - are appointed annually by vote of the Commissioners.
