| A winter blizzard is expected from Sunday, February 22, through Monday, February 23. Residents are urged to use extreme caution if travel is necessary and to allow extra time for their journeys.
Following the previous blizzard, fire crews noted that many fire hydrants throughout the district were buried under large piles of snow, days after the storm. We are asking for assistance during this upcoming event. If you have a fire hydrant on or near your property, please clear a three-foot path around all sides of the hydrant. This will help firefighters quickly locate and access the water connection in an emergency.
When seconds matter, the ability to access a reliable water supply is critical in combating fires. Your help in keeping hydrants accessible can make a significant difference during emergencies.
