Firefighter Manas Puhan makes the news again with even more exciting news. Today December 14, 2025, Firefighter Puhan has successfully completed NYS Firefighter 1 course with completing 150 hours of fire training at our training center located in Valhalla. FF Puhan has committed every Sunday for 8 hours a day from mid August to mid December to take this course, just to better him self and to better his community. We applaud FF Puhan on a job well done and are excited to have him as an Interior Firefighter serving the Montrose Fire District.
